*EU AI Act Update* Great news for our portfolio companies @MistralAI, Helsing, @langdock as well as other emerging AI players in Europe! Germany, France, and Italy came to an innovation-friendly agreement yesterday.

The three countries suggest limiting the EU AI Act's strict rules to the application layer while easing rules for the underlying foundation models. Models are to self-regulated via codes of conduct.

We are confident that our collective initiative, incl. the open letter to the EU signed by 150+ leading CEOs, has been a key impulse for this outcome. We are firm believers in the power of proactively engaging with the government to foster an effective environment for innovation.
