My first book is out today: The Code Was Never the Hard Part. Building got fast with AI. This is about the rest: finding the right problem, proving people want it, and launching so someone notices. $2.99 on Kindle until 22 Oct.

I'm building so much stuff and still my Claude Max limit is nowhere near its threshold. It's amazing.

My book is launching on Product Hunt today – The community for the best new products in tech. It might not be a tech product but it can help you build one. Give it an upvote if you pass by. Thanks!

Is @ProductHunt even a thing anymore? Trying to launch there but feels quite empty. Or maybe it's just I've failed to get any attention in that context. What do you say?

RT @DanielBogdanoff: I know we’re pretty AI pilled here, but buckle up. I just got off a group call where people showed how they were using AI for RF chip design, circuit board layout, 3D CAD modeling, FPGA optimization and programming, and video editing. These weren’t demos or cute examples, they were actual work. Times are changing fast and you can do more than you think right now. Don’t let your imagination or ambition limit you. Take big swings and you might hit some home runs.

RT @Mike_Scully_: I’ve lost count of how many people have shown me an app they built in a weekend, then asked why nobody’s paying for it. The answer is always the same. A business owner doesn’t care about your app. They care about the phone ringing, the diary being full and not spending their Sunday chasing invoices. Vibe coding made the building easy. The hard bit now is spotting the problem that’s quietly costing a business money, then being able to say “this is costing you about $3k a month and I can fix it for $1,500.” I went from climbing telephone poles to $20k a month and I’ve never written a line of complex code. I just got good at finding the problem, plugging together tools that already exist and showing the owner the maths. So if you can vibe code, brilliant, you’ve done the easy half. The half that actually pays is finding the problem, putting a number on it and asking for the money. Most people never learn that bit, which is exactly why it pays so well.

Ask an AI for a random number. It says 7. LLMs are bad at random answers. So I gave them a real dice. Randollm gives Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP client a real source of randomness. Free to use and open source.
