Removal requests
You own an X account and don't want its profile shown on Lurkbird. Ask us to hide it.
What to include
- The @handle and the full profile URL (for example, https://lurkbird.com/example).
- How we can confirm the account is yours — for example, a public post from the account, or writing from an email address linked to it.
- Whether you want the whole profile hidden or just specific posts.
Send a request
Fill this in and press send. It opens your own email app with the details already filled in — nothing is sent to Lurkbird until you send that message.
Prefer to write it yourself? Email [email protected] with the same details.
What we do
- We check the request and add the handle to a list that keeps it off Lurkbird.
- While it's on the list, we don't show that profile or its posts.
- We can't remove the posts from X itself; that stays with X.
We can only hide content from Lurkbird. This does not affect your X account, and it does not delete anything on X.
