Big Tech shouldn’t get to rig policy debates with junk research. Thanks to Mayor Mamdani, it won’t. DCWP is launching a Research & Analytics division to expose corporate abuse, strengthen enforcement, and produce rigorous, independent research. P.S. We’re hiring!

RT @helloDCWP: DCWP issued this statement on DoorDash's potential purchase of Instacart. ⬇️ No matter the outcome, New York City will continue to enforce delivery workers' rights without fear or favor.

RT @NYCMayor: I grew up in a world Dolores Huerta helped make. Every time a worker in this city organizes for a fair wage, every time a tenant, delivery worker, or a nanny stands up and demands better, they join a tradition she forged. She led without asking permission. She organized farmworkers when the country looked away, took the grape boycott to every corner of America, and won protections that changed millions of lives. Her work started in California’s fields, but it was never only for California. Families in New York, in Texas, and in the Midwest followed in her footsteps and learned from her example, without ever meeting her. Her bravery and fight for justice continued until the very end of her life, when she came forward to share the truth about what she had survived -- even though silence would have been easier. She taught us that sí se puede and lived it every day. New York mourns Dolores Huerta. Let us honor her by continuing the work.

RT @helloDCWP: It’s time to pass the Delivery Protection Act and make our streets safer! If we are serious about protecting workers and delivering economic justice to all New Yorkers, we must confront the systems that are holding us back.

Wondering how working people can beat Big Tech? Ask a NYC delivery worker. Since 2023, hourly pay has quadrupled and overall earnings have surged more than $2 billion. This was possible only because delivery workers spoke out, fought back, and won. Read our full report!

A “Great Deal” shouldn’t come with thousands of dollars in hidden fees. We’re suing CarGurus for deceiving New Yorkers with misleading prices, distorted deal ratings, and an AI chatbot that helped sell the phony deals.

RT @NYCOfficeofTech: Tech should work for New Yorkers, not against them. The complaint portal we rolled out alongside @helloDCWP for NYC's NEW Click-to-Cancel rule represents a prime example of this belief put into action. If you have a stubborn subscription, your first stop is We'll help guide you through the rest.

RT @CMChiOsse: Bureaucracy cannot be the enemy of getting shit done. In that spirit, we’re introducing legislation, in partnership with @NYCMayor and @HelloDCWP, to cut red tape and empower the city to act faster against unconscionable business practices.

RT @NYCMayor: Cancelling a subscription shouldn't be this hard. If you can sign up with a click, you must be able to cancel with one. Head to to file a complaint against any business that makes it hard to cancel a subscription.

RT @helloDCWP: Fine print shouldn't be a free pass—and under the POWER Act, it won't be.  It's time to put power directly into New Yorkers' hands and create a robust private right of action. DCWP looks forward to working with Chair @HarveyforNY and @NYCCouncil to pass this legislation.
