1/2 Last week's Maui recap: I hiked 3+ miles over lava rocks, eyed a few blowholes, bought mango bread, drove through the end of a rainbow twice, [redacted], fed a wild mongoose banana bread, and spent multiple hours alone with my wife at the summit of Haleakalā.

2/2 We saw a meteor shower from the summit, spotted spy technology being deployed, witnessed endangered birds mating, swam with turtles, spent almost $200 on Hawaiian snacks from Costco, and almost ran over a fucking pig.

This turtle ain't got time for your problems.

I went to take some photos of flowers today and stopped, remembering all the people who used to love my flower photos are dead... 🙁
