    BREAKING: from the East Potomac golf course hearing. Judge Reyes is not letting the Trump admin off easy. She ordered DOJ's #3, Stan Woodward, and the head of the National Park Service to show up in person. And she started the hearing by reading the DC Bar's rule about candor to the court. She asked Woodward if DOJ made any false assertions to the court. "Not to my knowledge." Then she asked if he read ALL the transcripts before getting involved, including DOJ's motion to disqualify HER. Interior's lawyer, Noah Hoggatt, got the same question. Did Interior make any material misrepresentations of fact or law to the court? Same answer. "Not to my knowledge." Hoggatt then declined to say whether Secretary Burgum was "involved" in the golf course decision-making. When he pressed Reyes on the definition of "involved," she pulled up a dictionary and read it to him. Then she asked Hoggatt when he first learned of the plan to close the course. Woodward objected on "apex doctrine" grounds. After a sharp exchange, Hoggatt sat down and Woodward answered. She pressed Woodward on Trump's Oct. 18 Truth Social post saying the course will close Nov. 15. Did Trump mean what he said? Woodward says that's shielded by executive privilege. Now here's the conflict. Trump posted again on Oct. 26 that it would close Nov. 15 "as scheduled." Woodward says he doesn't know what Trump was referring to. He says the plan to close it wasn't made official until Oct. 28. Reyes also went after the sea wall excuse. It wasn't mentioned at any point in this case until this month. She says it speaks to the plaintiffs' concern that it's a "pretext" to carry out Trump's plan. They're on a break now. More coming. #DemsUnited

    RT @MaxVelocityWX: The polar vortex is forecast to split in two next week... one piece over Canada, the other over Siberia... The polar vortex is a ring of strong winds about 20 miles up that spins around the North Pole and keeps the coldest air locked up over the Arctic. This time of year, those winds normally blow around 55 mph from the west. By Wednesday, models have them stopping and turning BACKWARDS. When that happens, the vortex is basically broken: there’s nothing left spinning to hold the cold air in place. In records going back to 1948, the winds have never reversed this way before November 27th. This would beat that by more than 3 weeks. Why it matters: a split vortex can push some of the cold air locked up over the Arctic down into the mid-latitudes, usually 1 to 3 weeks later. That doesn’t guarantee a big cold blast for us, but it’s definitely on the table as we head into the 2nd half of November...

They are all outrageous lies. We also found five survivors who accuse Trump himself of raping or sexually assaulting them in Epstein’s close company, one of whom had never spoken in detail about her rape until now. The DOJ won't do its job to investigate all of the abundant evidence of wrongdoing in the Epstein files, so Democrats demand appointment of a truly independent Special Counsel to conduct a thorough investigation of the largest human sex trafficking network in this century.
