Introducing Optimus-1, the first swarm harness for autonomous research. Generally available in ArkenOS, starting now. Optimus-1 lets ArkenOS spawn a swarm that runs the entire discovery loop on hard research problems autonomously. The harness samples the hypothesis space in parallel and works the tails of the distribution, chasing every anomaly until it resolves into an artifact or a discovery. We want every researcher to have a lab of their own, and to see how far their curiosity can go. Unlike coding agents, Optimus-1 is designed for long-horizon discovery, where most branches fail, and the hard part is knowing which result to believe. It keeps what replicates and keeps pushing past the edge of what's known. We're still early, but ArkenOS is helping hundreds of teams, from RL environments and data labs to frontier research groups, scale the alpha in their core research. If you're working on a hard research problem and want to try it, my DMs are open. I'd love to hear what you'd point it at.

RT @0xDevShah: > meet ArkenOS. an autonomous research lab. > import your robot URDFs. > demonstrate tasks with a video. > arkenos deploys a swarm to train, evaluate, and optimize policies. parallely. > if sim-to-real fails, agents will investigate the gap and fix it > from urdfs to deployable policies, autonomously train custom robots for every customer, without an army of robotics engineers! drop a comment, and i'll send you access.

Meet Lor. We’re building Lor to do the work of an entire AI lab. Today, its agents write our code, run experiments, and iterate on the results for days, on any machine, hundreds at a time. Now in private beta ↓

RT @0xDevShah: 100s of dms. quite marvellous how everyone has questions. everyone wants to do research like OpenAI and Anthropic. everyone wants the tools of the Gods. everyone wants a taste of post-scarcity. we're still early, but our vision for the swarm harness is almost extraterrestrial. as we scale, we will give every researcher effectively inexhaustible tokens out of the box, at near-marginal inference cost. scientific exploration should be abundant. the economics of discovery are about to change dramatically.

RT @Suhail: 1/ Excited to announce our new company Particle This is our first step in a series of models focused on developers. With particle-1, we focused on token efficiency and managed to keep parity in performance while using ~45% fewer tokens. Live now:

This is exciting; I expect we are going to see a lot more things like this and it will be one of the most important impacts of AI. Congrats to the Future House team.

living in SF makes me feel like we're already in a post-scarcity world and i don't really need to build anything anymore. could just go back to writing poetry and cooking. would love to move to bangalore for a bit, get some fresh air and feel the urge to build again.

many 2 people companies out of stanford and MIT have spent 100s of billions of tokens autonomously researching materials, proteins, drug discovery, new algorithms, robotics, and physics on ArkenOS! scientific exploration will increasingly scale with compute. soon all you'll need is compute and ArkenOS to spin up swarms of agents and let them chase whatever questions you're curious about. what a time to be alive.

models have gotten so much better, and people are building such ridiculously ambitious things, that yc's rfs feels unambitious for the first time. very good sign!

The bottlenecks in AI are moving beyond the models. We’re excited about startups building the hardware, infra, financial systems, and specialized software to bring AI into the real economy, from factories and data centers to government and space.

in a few months from now, more inference will be consumed by autonomous background processes than by people talking directly to chatbots.

space exploration is going to become much more interesting when spacecraft can make scientific decisions without waiting for instructions from earth. a little robot notices something strange on an asteroid and decides to spend the afternoon investigating.
