Our @defcon "Inside the Fake Science Factory" talk is now on YouTube. We delved in to the weird world of fraudulent pseudo-academic conferences. A massive thanks @Niki7a and @thedarktangent for taking a chance on this submission.

RT @singe: I know nothing about creating Minecraft Education maps - & need to build some for a kids party. I tried python which works ok - but can’t be saved in the map so I’d have to manually run it. mcedit doesn’t work on macOS anymore & amulet runs but shows no maps. Anyone with exp?

Question for the runners out there... What benefit would a Strava sub give me over the free version and the stats on my Garmin Forerunner 255? The Forerunner has been a superb purchase in focusing my runs. Am I missing a trick without the Strava sub? #ukrunchat @UKRunChat

Been about 20 years since I've been at @rock_city_notts (used to go once or twice a week in the 90s/early 2ks). @orbitalband were belted out the Green & Brown albums.

@Rock_City_Notts @orbitalband The floor was still reassuringly sticky too. So many awesome memories of that club and happy it's still there when so many legendary clubs are long gone (Garage/KoolKat, Venus).

This is where they publicly stated we don't need a PCR test and there's no mention of one on their Holiday Promise or elsewhere.

@5uggy Hi, Apologies for all the confusion caused - We no longer require proof of the positive test aslong as you notify us within 7 days of departure that is fine. If you need to amend pop us a DM with your booking details and what you'd like to change to ^Nicola

RT @madplatt: Is anyone aware of any user research for security/compliance processes for software development ? Any comparison of methods, or qualitative studies about security in software development ?

@CareQualityComm - Can you help? We've reported a crime, but can't (we don't think) release CCTV footage to the care company because @DerbysPolice haven't arrested or interviewed the suspect. How should we best tackle this to not compromise evidence?

Crime against vulnerable elderly adults reported to @DerbysPolice on Friday. 5 days later and the suspect, caught on CCTV, has still not been arrested. It's not just the NHS that's badly broken.

Derbyshire Police says £200 fines given to two women who travelled to a reservoir for a walk five miles from their homes have been rescinded. Chief constable Rachel Swann says the force has contacted the pair and apologised "for any concern caused".
