Yesterday’s launch of the #NewFoundationsProgramme at Parliament Buildings, Stormont, highlighted the value of administrative data research to help improve outcomes for young people leaving care. Our newly published research, which shows high levels of homelessness among care leavers, provides solid evidence to support action. Grateful to our partners @nihecommunity @healthdpt and @VOYPIC for the strong collaboration that provided important evidence for this exciting cross-departmental initiative and Ministerial address by @mikenesbittni. We really enjoyed being part of Northern Ireland Public Data Panel / NIPDP data dialogue back in June. Our Director @Aideen_QUB and one of our researchers @DrSineadFurey brought presentations focusing on poverty and food insecurity. This was a very engaging and informative session. The panel is a great way to hear the public's voice on these important and relevant topics. Thank you for having us! See the link below to the full report of the data dialogue.
