RT @AprilHuggett: When did that account post about her? You posting on her behalf to this account, that she can reply to and that made the comment - proves my point about her and her character. You wanted to make things public and that's fine, I haven't talked about this in a long time but if you want to bring up an old account that I clearly do not use and say anything about screenshots lets do this. She and others backed a scam fundraiser that they knew wasn't going to the unit in the video. This was less than 2 months after doing a fundraiser for a van that was supposedly completely broken down but was caught driving in Dnipro while me and others were actually on the frontlines doing deliveries in Omelnyk and Orikhiv. The unit? Was friends of Harry's and made a fake video and that is why me, Roman and Maria left within 24 hours of telling him not to post it. We had enough real videos, from real soldiers needing help and we didn't need to make fake fundraisers. I have worked very hard to earn the trust of donors and soldiers and wasn't about to risk it all for anyone. I had completely forgotten about Becky being involved in any of this. Maybe what's being said actually has some truth to it.

RT @EuromaidanPR: Content of Tense Conversation Between Budanov and Trump's Team Revealed Negotiations between the Ukrainian delegation and Donald Trump's special envoys in Miami, as reported by Le Monde, escalated into a conflict. According to the publication, during a three-hour meeting at the Shell Bay golf club, Steve Witkoff "with irritation" demanded that Kyrylo Budanov, head of Zelenskyy's office, cease strikes on Russian oil refineries. Budanov, per Le Monde's information, "barely contained his anger" and felt that he was being "treated like a child, trying to teach him how to make money." The Americans presented an ambitious plan for postwar "regional prosperity," which envisioned resuming the transit of Russian oil and gas to Europe through Ukraine, with dividends paid to Kyiv. Budanov was outraged that such a deal would tie Ukraine to Moscow, after which the negotiations broke off. When the meeting resumed, the Americans proposed accepting a deal for supplies of Russian diesel to the United States. The publication's sources noted that they had never seen Ukrainians "so upset and alarmed." Zelenskyy's entourage described the situation as "hopeless," since Trump's envoys "think only about business." 📸: Press service of the President of Ukraine

I saw Ksenia's post last night, messaged her and then cried. Our city is under fire, everything we know and love is being erased and our friends and family are losing everything. Every one of my animal rescues from Sivers'k, Toretsk and other villages across the frontline involved Ksenia in one way or another. Every single evacuation west with 30+ animals was coordinated from this house. Every single animal food delivery started with Ksenia. Countless times I have walked in carriers filled with cats, kgs of food and received aid from this house. Ksenia and her family lost their home and Donetsk lost a sanctuary for anyone who loves animals. This is an unimaginable loss for Ksenia and for #Kramatorsk. Every day the invaders give me one more reason to hate them and turn my hate and anger into motivation to delete them all.

💔 Sad time. Two days ago while we were evacuating people from Kramatorsk we discovered Ksenia’s house had been destroyed by Russian drones. Just a house we could say…. It was not just a house, what was achieved out of this building is amazing. Ksenia is an animal volunteer as many of you know and while she was bringing in new animals from the front and organising for animals to be moved to a safer place in Ukraine and beyond she was doing this from the basement and a couple of other locations. Numerous animal organisations have used this house for their operations too. From Twitter @penpushermakar asked me if I could help rescue her dog Tori from Kupainsk and on my travels Tori lived in this house for a few days before heading to her new life in Latvia. While Ksenia was working in the basement, her husband was working on the top floor 3D printing for military operations with multiple printers and circuit board etchers. It was here we would print profiles and attachments for drones and other things for SOF into the night often standing on the balcony looking for shahed and explosions from the view while sharing stories. The middle floor was recreational where we met with the military personnel who had just come back from dangerous parts of the front like Chasiv Yar, Lyman, Toretsk and Pokrovsk directions. I met @AprilHuggett here a few times and @RimaFellaria came here to see our 3d printing too. This is also where I slept while in Kram. It is crazy to think of the many more things achieved by other organisations in this house I’ve not included in this post. Kramatorsk is in crisis right now, we must help as much as possible before Russia wipes all cities off the map. Please support all fundraisers in Donetsk region and if you don’t already have one please see my pinned post to support Liut defending Druzhkivka direction.

RT @trinzu: I don’t understand foreigners voluntarily enlisting in the Ukrainian army and then talking like someone forced them to put their lives on hold. You chose to come to Ukraine and enlist. That doesn’t mean it’s easy or that your sacrifices aren’t real, but there’s no need to turn yourself into some kind of martyr over a decision you made yourself. You wanted to serve, so serve. Ask for support and talk about the difficulties, but stop making it sound like you’re the only one giving anything up. There are plenty of others who volunteered too. Your sacrifice doesn’t give you the right to act like everyone else has sacrificed nothing.

RT @tatyanaodesssa: Yesterday, @AprilHuggett recorded such a heartfelt, moving video—it brought tears to my and my sister @antoninaodesssa eyes. So many people responded with support and kind words. And I thought: this is part of our lives, too. Helping each other, accepting help, expressing gratitude. Feeling that we are not alone. But of course, a few people showed up in the comments just to say something cruel. And every time, these people leave me bewildered. You saw someone’s life, unfiltered—a life with pain, joy, and gratitude. And you felt the need to add your cruelty to it. Why? You could have simply scrolled past. When you leave comments like that, you reveal far more about yourself than about the person you’re writing to. Light will always win

I am exactly the demographic that would have believed this in 2014, and it pains me to admit that. In #Canada I grew up trusting that the news presented to us was an honest representation of events, and those who questioned the narrative were often dismissed as conspiracy theorists. We weren't necessarily taught to question how information was framed, whose perspective was missing, or who benefited from the version of events we were being shown. russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022 fundamentally changed how millions of people in the West understood the narratives they had been presented with for years. Perhaps the most uncomfortable part of developing critical thinking is recognizing how easily you were manipulated. - A soldier in #Ukraine

Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets has headed to the site and will be responsible for coordinating the process. We are in constant contact with him. It is critically important that this mission to rescue our people be carried out successfully and safely. I am sincerely grateful to everyone involved in carrying out and supporting this operation. RT @nexta_tv: 🚨 Number of people injured in Russian strikes on Kyiv rises to 14 — one person killed According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, nine of the injured have been hospitalized. Among the wounded are students living in a university dormitory. The Russian strikes damaged residential buildings, educational and medical facilities, as well as metro infrastructure. Train services on the green metro line between Osokorky and Chervony Khutir stations have been suspended after a strike damaged metro infrastructure on the Southern Bridge. Damage was also reported earlier at Lisova station on the red line. According to Klitschko, all stations on that line are now open to passengers.

RT @ZelenskyyUa: Russian ballistic missiles struck the grounds of a university in Kyiv and the area around it – effectively the campus, Kyoto Park, the area near a metro station, and residential buildings. The exact number of casualties is not yet known. But tragically, there are victims. There are people injured. Rescue operations are underway. There is extensive damage, and there are also reports that people may be trapped under the rubble. All emergency services are at the scene and doing their work – saving lives. The missiles hit very crowded areas, and there is not a single military facility nearby. This was a strike directly on the city, on its infrastructure. Unfortunately, there may be more strikes coming. The attack with “shaheds” is also continuing – against Kyiv and our other cities and communities. And it is precisely under such circumstances, when the threat is constant, when strikes can come at any moment and target cities and villages directly, that artificial delays in providing air defense to Ukraine help terror. It is important that political agreements be implemented promptly at the team level. It is important that our partners understand that Ukraine needs the proper tools to destroy Russian ballistic missile launchers. This would be the most effective way to save lives. It is important that the world sees that Russia is showing nothing but a desire to kill and continue waging war. Ukraine must not be left to face this alone, and it is solely Russia’s fault that the war is still going on and people are still dying. Please take care of yourselves. All partners should stand with Ukraine – with the protection of lives.
