For the National Border Patrol Council, this month is an opportunity to recognize the men and women who serve on the front lines every day — including the thousands of Border Patrol agents who work in some of the most demanding and dangerous environments in federal law enforcement. Border Patrol agents understand firsthand the sacrifices that come with wearing the badge. Our members work long hours, spend time away from their families, and routinely place themselves in harm’s way while protecting our borders, responding to emergencies, combating human smuggling and drug trafficking, and safeguarding the communities they serve. NBPC was proud to be represented alongside our state and local law enforcement partners and to recognize the strong working relationships that exist between Border Patrol agents, Texas DPS personnel, sheriffs’ offices, police departments, and other law enforcement agencies throughout Texas.
