Fox is wrong. That is not what happened in the meeting at all. No one who spoke at the network meeting opposed covering the campaign or story but rather exchanged ideas on how to do it. All of the AK candidates also know they have an open invitation (repeatedly offered) to join Face the Nation. So does the NH GOP candidate who has also been repeatedly invited. I look forward to seeing my colleagues cover it too.
I actually caught this on Fox:
And WaPo:
I obtained the audio of yesterday's CBS all-staff editorial meeting where the Dan Sullivan/Dan Sullivan story was discussed. In contrast to the Fox story's characterization (shared below), I didn't detect any tension or hear staffers clashing or disagreeing with Bari Weiss. Sounded like a standard editorial discussion...

Trump restores Kansas visit after criticism that he was abandoning Sen. Roger Marshall, who's trailing in the polls. Still, a number of tossups in Senate contests. Last-minute predications: Cook Political Report says Dems will take at least 240 House seats (!!)

Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan just reported on MS NOW that Trump has decided to move the press corps out of the White House. But no story is up yet.

Rrriiighttt, because two years just isn’t enough time to fulfill a core campaign promise that was supposed to begin on Day One.

As inflation and rising costs dominate the midterm debate, one Georgia voter is sticking firmly with the GOP—arguing that conservative leadership is the key to letting the market correct itself.

Actor Josh Duhamel is making a direct appeal to Minnesota voters ahead of the November 3 midterms, urging residents to show up at the polls and calling voting a “sacred duty.”
The “Ransom Canyon” star says he won’t tell anyone which candidates to support, but his message is already prompting competing reactions in the comments.

It got a lot less uncomfortable once Anthony joined us and you relaxed, stopped being a robot, and started answering questions like a human… I wasn’t trying to ‘gotcha’ you, I was just asking you questions any journalist would ask you…

John Stockton is one of the most respected men in basketball, a Hall of Famer whose discipline and hard work made him the NBA’s all-time leader in assists and steals.
I’m honored to have him on our team in this election.
Join our team next Tuesday, November 3rd, and let’s bring common sense back to Minnesota!

RT @factpostnews: Vance absolutely bombs a question from a young woman worried about affordability
Q: I'm the VP of TPUSA at Texas Christian University. I keep hearing from Republicans that I should get married and have children. But how can I own a home and raise a family right now when it's so expensive?
Vance: Thanks for your question. First, let me point out that I've only been asked about Jon Husted's ass once tonight.
Sen. @tedcruz in March: "I don't believe that what is happening in Iran will be front and center in November. If it extends that long, we've done something wildly wrong... The president said at the beginning this is going to be a matter of several weeks."
