    Two weeks ago Gemini 4 Argon was #1. In real use it was one of the most frustrating models I've touched. Now Carbon is #1 on a freshly updated index, with a gradual rollout so nobody can test it yet. Benchmaxxed until proven otherwise.

    I did say we'd be releasing our models periodically...introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, our next frontier model. Following Argon's release just two weeks ago, Carbon shows the pace at which we’re pushing the frontier, it ranks #1 on the recently updated v5.0 of @ArtificialAnlys Intelligence Index at 59. It also leads across key cybersecurity evaluations scoring 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro for finding vulnerabilities, 54.8% on ExploitGym for exploitation, and 71.0% on CWE-bench for patching. We’re seeing significant improvements in long-horizon tasks even compared to Argon, and we’ve strengthened frontier safeguards. As we did with Argon, we’re going to roll it out gradually + responsibly. Some trusted cyber defenders will get access starting this week. We'll be expanding it to more partners through our Fairwind Program, ahead of wider availability soon, so hang tight!

    Most observability tools charge by what they index, so teams quietly sample logs, cap retention at a week, and drop fields like user_id. Then the one trace you need at 3am is already gone. @Coralogix takes a different route. Nothing gets indexed. All telemetry lands in your own cloud storage, in open formats, kept as long as you want.     What the hell is going on with Claude? I'm paying $100/month for the Max plan and using Opus 5.5, yet my 5-hour usage limits are getting wiped in just 10 minutes of completely normal Claude Code sessions. Weekly limits are draining like crazy too. How are we supposed to get any actual work done when usage limits are this ridiculous, even on a $100 plan? Anyone else experiencing this sudden drop in usage?

    Opus 5.5 is insanely good at creating motion graphics videos, but the sound effects are still its weak point. That’s why I use Wav for all the SFX and voiceovers in my Claude videos. It makes such a huge difference to the final result. Truly a game changer @musicgpt_com !

    Kimi K3.1 Pro vs DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, head-to-head on a running V8 engine built in Three.js, both on max effort. Both built working 3D simulations with RPM controls, combustion, cutaway views and part inspection. But the numbers are wild: DeepSeek: 67.2M tokens, $0.86 Kimi: 3.5M tokens, $2.16 Kimi used 19x fewer tokens and finished in 31 mins. DeepSeek ran for 48 mins before I stopped it while it was still refining. Kimi has the more polished UI, while DeepSeek has the more detailed dyno cell. And somehow, DeepSeek was cheaper despite using way more tokens, thanks to 66.7M cached input tokens.

    Kimi K3.1 Pro might be the new Opus 👀 We tested it against Claude Opus 5.5 on Jensen's Microducks from GTC Berlin, and honestly, this is the closest I've seen a model get to Opus in quality. Opus still catches more details, but Kimi gets surprisingly close while costing 3.5x less. ⚡ Kimi: $1.57 | ~13 min wall time 🔥 Opus: $5.58 | ~29 min wall time Both ran at high effort, with Kimi using 26 tries vs Opus's 19. The quality gap is getting seriously small.

    DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 vs Claude Haiku 5.5, head-to-head on the exact same 3D bedroom prompt. I really like Haiku’s cozy, comfortable design and the overall vibe it went for, but DeepSeek held its own with a more detailed result.     DeepSeek V4 is insane, tested it on the Same prompt across 4 models: build an isometric flood-control game set in a Filipino neighborhood. Zero-shot, max reasoning, one run each. V4.1 Flash 1017 genuinely surprised us. Rich colors, clean visuals, smooth camera, and an excellent tutorial. It feels like a more polished GPT-6 Astra output.

    Recently came across @otter_ai and it's quietly made my life so much easier. I used to spend the first 10 minutes after every call trying to remember who said what. Now Otter already sends the summary, with action items assigned to the right people. Best part: I can just ask it "when's the launch again?" and it pulls the answer from my old meetings. Works on Zoom, Meet and Teams, and there's a free plan. Anyone else using it? Curious what you use it for.
