PM Applauds IAF's Aerial Might :
"Varanasi Air Show ...Magnificent"
The contrails may have faded over the sacred waters of the Ganga, but the pride and power of the Indian Air Force will forever remain etched in the hearts of people of Kashi.
The Grand Finale of Wings Over Ganges on 25 Oct 2026 at Namo Ghat, in the holy city of Varanasi on the 94th Anniversary of IAF, was a powerful and spectacular expression of India’s strength, self-reliance, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the skies of the nation. The flypast witnessed nearly hundred aircraft mobilised over 12 airbases.
In terms of a single continuous flypast and tactical public demonstration outside an airfield, this festive display of air power would rank amongst the largest strength of aircraft flown in an aerial display at an open-air public venue.
In the august presence of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi and the Defence Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh, our Air Warriors showcased their exceptional skills, precision, discipline, and operational excellence. The roar of the engines, the grace of the formations, and the daring manoeuvres remained awe-inspiring.
HQ Central Air Command acknowledges the overwhelming love and affection of the people of Varanasi and express our sincere gratitude to the District Administration for their whole hearted support in making the event a Grand Success.
Relive the spectacular moments of Wings Over Ganges in our highlights video and celebrate the valour, professionalism, and indomitable spirit of our Air Warriors, true to IAF's motto;
नभः स्पृशं दीप्तम् — Touch the Sky with Glory! 🇮🇳
