RT @CRPaatil: हमारे पूर्वजों ने हमें सिखाया है कि अपने आसपास स्वच्छता रखना, जल स्रोतों की देखभाल करना, यह हमारी अपनी ज़िम्मेदारी है। मुझे खुशी होती है जब मैं यह देखता हूँ कि देश के कितने ही लोग इसी भावना को अपना जीवन बनाए हुए हैं। यही भाव उत्तराखंड के टिहरी गढ़वाल में भी देखने को मिलता है। यहाँ लोगों ने मिलकर एक नदी को नया जीवन देने का प्रयास किया है। यह नदी है—हेवल। कुछ समय पहले हेवल नदी में पानी कम होने लगा था। आसपास के प्राकृतिक जल स्रोत भी सूख रहे थे। ऐसे में स्थानीय प्रशासन और गाँव के लोगों ने मिलकर हेवल नदी को बचाने का अभियान चलाया। इस दौरान बारिश का पानी रोकने के उपाय हुए, ज़मीन में पानी पहुँचाने के लिए काम हुआ और बड़ी संख्या में पौधे लगाए गए। आज इस प्रयास से हेवल नदी को नया जीवनदान मिला है और साथ ही दर्जनों प्राकृतिक जल स्रोतों के पुनर्जीवन में भी मदद मिली है। : माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी
