But knowing the #Broncos as I do, they're pretty confident in their OL and they already have so much money tied up in the unit. Ben Powers is still decently paid and while he's in a contract year, they just drafted Kage Casey for a reason. They have a plan at LG. So, realistically, Luis, I agree with you. The one thing I remain open to is the possibility of Denver adding a new weapon at the deadline. RB or WR. - With a night to sleep on it and watch the film, #Broncos HC Sean Payton said Jonah Coleman has earned his touches. “He played well. The touches he had were explosive. Like anything else, I think it’s something you earn. He’s done a good job of that.” Coleman had nine carries for 53 yards plus two catches for 15. J.K. Dobbins had just six carries for 23 yards, though he did vulture a 1-yard TD from the rookie. Coleman should be the new RB1. The offense just looked DIFFERENT with him on the field.

What we saw in Weeks 1-6 were symptoms of a young player's psyche catching up to his ankle's recovery, which was not only a traumatic injury timing-/cost-wise, but also an ordeal that required months of rehab to recover from. Throw in the #Broncos' brutal initial schedule, a first-time play-caller, and the shuffling of those duties on the fly, and the slump is understandable. Yet, the team kept winning.
