I want to congratulate our students and families, teachers, staff, administrators, and Chicago Public Schools leadership on this landmark achievement. @ChiPubSchools' graduation rate has increased by almost 10 percentage points since 2018, the same year Chicago's teachers secured the Sustainable Community Schools initiative in their contract. As Mayor, I am proud to have expanded the number of Sustainable Community Schools and released more than $1 billion into our public schools to support the achievements and success of our students.

Access to healthy, affordable food should never depend on your income or your zip code. Experiencing homelessness at a young age should not determine the rest of your life. We will continue working to create pathways out of homelessness and into permanent housing, because our responsibility does not end when someone finds a shelter bed. @ChicagoDOH @ChiFamSupport
