The best part about following @DrewSav on election nights is the amount of interesting data he sends into my feed, regardless of partisanship. But when it’s not an election night? Random state district voting maps, 007 takes, and questioning pols about Ninja turtles. Love it.

RT @Yukongold1898: I don't know anything about rural Kansas in particular, but I there's a tendency to treat rural areas as a political monolith, when in reality there are a bunch of different types of rural areas that have different political interests (same with urban areas).
    Jackson Hannan @electionsjack
From 2016 to 2024, Kansas went from being 22.5% more Republican than the national environment to being 14.6% more Republican than the national environment. Striking to me is how uniform this has been. Rural, urban, and suburban areas all have similar trends (with the exception of parts of Kansas City)

RT @MattKleinOnline: It's been 32 years since Democrats won a statewide race in Texas. So what would a win for them on Tuesday even look like? The answer could vary depending on candidates' particular strengths and weaknesses. But as a general rule of thumb, they'll want to hit these marks:

RT @laurenhtexas: A lot of people buy into a fictionalized version of Trump. Part of Trump's success is his ability to make people project whatever they want onto him. That's how there's this myth that he's this scrappy, self-made businessman who the media's out to get. Paxton doesn't have that.

One of my favorite of his performances was in Star Trek TNG's "Measure of a Man," an episode about Data's legal status as an android, which has striking resonances today as we struggle to make sense of AI systems.
