Investigators pointed to a navigation error leading to a CFIT. Cerdan, considered one of France´s all-time greatest was also famous for his relationship with iconic French singer Edith Piaaf, who reportedly was never more the same after his demise. On another historical note, Neveu boarded the ill-fated flight carrying her valuable Stradivarius Violin. It was not found at the crash site and its fate remains a mystery to this day This twitter account´s owner has a book regarding this and other stories of air disasters in the Azores.
