Governor Kevin Stitt✓

What’s the trend now? My 5-9 after my 9-5? See more of that, some hot takes my staff doesn’t want me to post, and the content you all actually want — gardening videos — over at @KevinStitt!

Oklahomans step up when our neighbors need help, and we’re sending 24 Oklahoma Task Force 1 members to New Mexico to help with flood rescues. These four swift water rescue teams are bringing the boats, equipment, and expertise needed to help save lives. I’m proud of these Oklahomans for answering the call and ask that you join me in praying for their safety and everyone affected by the flooding.

Proud of Science Museum Oklahoma for helping preserve the story of America’s fight for independence and helping ensure that human remains recovered from the Revolutionary War gunboat Philadelphia receive an honorable military burial. After years of research, the museum worked with the Smithsonian and the U.S. Army to reunite remains recovered from the gunboat Philadelphia. As we mark 250 years of American independence, we honor those who helped secure the freedoms we enjoy today.

We’re breaking ground, and I got to help move some dirt! This new interchange  in Newcastle will connect I 44 to the future Toby Keith Expressway.  Newcastle is growing, and we’re planning ahead to help families get where they need to go. That’s how we build a Top 10 state and keep Oklahoma moving forward!

Parents know their kids best, and school choice puts them in charge of their child’s education. Thanks to President Trump and Republicans in Congress, the new Education Freedom Tax Credit will encourage donations that fund student scholarships starting in 2027. Oklahoma opted in! More options for families create more opportunities for children to succeed and achieve the American dream.

The Tenth Circuit’s decision in the Pawnee v. EPA reaffirms what I have been saying the whole time - McGirt only applies to a narrow set of criminal circumstances. Not taxes, not traffic laws, and not environmental regulations.    We are a law and order state, and we will keep protecting our natural resources while defending Oklahoma’s jurisdiction.

Remember when OU beat Texas last weekend?  That’s a day worth reliving!  Governor @GregAbbott_TX, let me send you my address because I’m ready for some of that Texas BBQ!  Let’s go Sooners, and how about them Cowboys!

TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN! Oklahomans, heavy rain and flash flooding are making our roadways dangerous. Please be careful and never drive through floodwater. @okem is monitoring the situation. If water has entered your home and caused damage, report it at Look out for your family and neighbors, and don’t risk your life trying to cross a flooded road. My family and I had an amazing night under the stars at Black Mesa in Oklahoma’s Panhandle!   With some of the darkest skies in the country, this Oklahoma treasure gave us a view we won’t forget.    Here are a few shots I captured of the beautiful night sky over our great state!

Americans want solutions that make everyday life more affordable.  I joined @ChrisStirewalt to discuss rising diesel prices, the need for bipartisan energy permitting reform, and the debate over who should regulate artificial intelligence.  Our focus should be on practical solutions that lower costs and address the concerns families are discussing around the kitchen table.

The Golden Hat is coming back across the Red River!! Boomer Sooner! @UofOklahoma

Boomer!

It’s Red River Rivalry time!  I’ve got a feeling our Sooners are going to pull off the upset! Governor @GregAbbott_TX, how about a friendly wager? When OU wins, you send some of that Texas BBQ north of the Red River. What do you say? See you Saturday. Boomer Sooner!

Grateful for President Trump's approval of my request for FEMA disaster assistance for Cleveland, Osage, Nowata, and Washington counties following the July 4 storms. These communities suffered millions in damage and have been working hard to help their neighbors clean up. This assistance will help them replace critical infrastructure damaged in the storms.

I got my pilot’s license at 16, so you could say I’ve been rooting for Oklahoma aviation for a long time! Today at the Oklahoma History Center, we unveiled a new study showing Oklahoma’s aerospace and defense industry generates $52.5 BILLION in annual economic impact. From our 107 public-use airports to our five major military installations and aerospace and defense companies statewide, Oklahoma is reaching new heights. @oklahomaaero

This is common sense. In 2021, I held the line and made it clear that Oklahoma birth certificates should reflect a person’s biological sex at birth. This deserved a unanimous outcome by our Oklahoma Supreme Court.

I applaud @SenArmstrong and his Senate colleagues for their work on permitting reform. Oklahomans celebrated Sen. Armstrong’s appointment for just this reason - his ability to bring people together to solve hard, important issues. He has represented our state admirably.

Oklahoma feeds the world, however our farmers and ranchers are facing unprecedented challenges as we head into harvest season. As their costs increase, so do our prices at the grocery store. The state should ease burdens where it can in order to provide relief for the industry, and for Americans trying to feed their families.

Still relevant.

Last week, NGA Chair Oklahoma @GovStitt discussed the need for permitting reform at a @semafor event with Pennsylvania @GovernorShapiro. Watch the full discussion at: and read Governors' permitting priorities here:

This week, as part of my 77 County Tour, I visited Homestead Meats and Processing to see firsthand how they're tackling one of the biggest challenges facing our local producers: a shortage of USDA-inspected meat processors here in Oklahoma. On top of that, Homestead is giving second chance employment opportunities to Oklahomans who have been incarcerated and are ready to work. This is what it looks like when good policy and good people come together to build a stronger Oklahoma.
