The days of earning HOPR rewards just for keeping a node online are coming to an end Our Piz Palü release marks a turning point @Gnosis_VPN is coming, and running a node is about to become a lot more interesting So what does it take to earn in the new HOPR network?

And that's not all… 👉 The Staking Hub is on its way out 👉  Hardware requirements are going up 👉  Community-built tools will play a bigger role We're focusing more on the protocol and core tooling, while encouraging node runners to build and share tools of their own

HOPR is moving from a network incentivized to stay online to one built to deliver for Gnosis VPN It's a big shift, and an exciting next chapter for node runners Here's all the details of what's changing, why it matters, and how you can prepare:

Part of the HOPR-DAI liquidity on Uniswap v3 can no longer be withdrawn, following the deprecation of the PALM vault system that managed it. Around 7m HOPR tokens and 20k DAI are locked in the pool, but will continue providing liquidity as intended. No user funds are affected or at risk. Here's what happened, and what it means 🧵

The liquidity sits in two ranges, with one range only activating if HOPR rises above $0.040606 (~3.8x today). Above that price it sells HOPR into DAI, and the proceeds remain locked. This position represents around 1% of HOPR's market cap. This doesn't change how we view Arrakis as a partner — we've appreciated their transparency in investigating and reporting this.
