    Thought this was telling. Asked J.J. McCarthy if he felt more comfortable than previous years. McCarthy: "For sure. Just overall, regardless of team, I feel such a different peace going out there on the field every single time I step out there just being in Year 2 now of playing."

    This seems to be about the Colts. Schoen: “We’re going to look at all the options that are available and certain teams have already started some trades. We’ve been in contact with those teams and have a pretty good idea who may or may not be available. "And it’s got to make sense short-term and long-term.”

    What's the future of the Giants QB room with Jaxson Dart, J.J. McCarthy and Jameis Winston? Joe Schoen: "Good position to be in." Dart and McCarthy are viewed as good young quarterbacks. Winston a backup you can win games with. Giants went 2-1-1 with him as starter.

    RB Tyrone Tracy (hamstring) is being placed on injured reserve. Won't be long term but has to miss four games. Giants are signing RB Greg Desrosiers off the practice squad from the Chargers.

    Was told by a few sources the price for Quenton Nelson would be around a second or third-round pick. Turned out true with a 2027 three and a 2028 five coming from Seattle. Same people thought RB Jonathan Taylor would cost a second-round pick and possibly more.

    John Harbaugh is confident in Dominic Zvada. He remains the Giants kicker. This is from after the game. Harbaugh added Monday they won't be bringing in kickers for a workout. Worth noting: Zvada has already attempted 8 FGs from 50+. That's generally a seasons' worth.

    Woke up on Tuesday morning and the Cowboys are back as slim NFC East favorites, according to @DraftKings. This despite the Giants currently having a 1 1/2 game lead in the division. Giants 4-2-1 Cowboys 3-4 Eagles 2-5 Commanders 1-4-1

    Funny because Arvell Reese told me recently he was a RB when he was younger. I told him we all needed video of that. Imagine trying to tackle a young Arvell Reese? Think he ditched it though by middle school if my memory serves correct.

    Pretty telling quote from John Harbaugh: “We're going to be in this thing until the end now. This was a pivotal game. This was a really high-pressure game for our team. We didn't talk about that, but they all knew how important this game was, and they responded accordingly.” The Giants (4-2-1) are currently two games up in the NFC East with the Cowboys and Eagles facing each other on Monday night.

    Great job by the Giants coaches. Reality is they had a team who dominated the game. Outgained Houston 420-237. OC Matt Nagy is really doing a helluva job. The Giants have started three QBs in seven games and he's scheming guys open all over the field.

    Are we sure the Giants are much worse, if at all, with Micah McFadden at middle linebacker rather than Tremaine Edmunds? McFadden had 10 tackles including two for a loss vs. Texans.
