🌍 Safely back from Geneva after the #GESDASummit! There was a lot to process, and I've enjoyed revisiting the thoughts I jotted down. Three reflections on AI, humanity, and the future that I continue to ponder. 🧵

🔮 True anticipation may require us to sit with uncertainty rather than rush to resolve it. If pain is a source of empathy, can AI ever genuinely understand human experience, or only analyze and mimic it? What are its limitations?

🧭 New technologies require new philosophical thinking. One thought from my notes: "Value = direction." How should education and democracy evolve with AI? How can we cultivate values, character, and public participation in shaping the future? More questions than answers. 💭

Inspiring Day 1 at the @GESDAglobal Anticipation Summit in Geneva! 🇨🇭✨ Honored to join a session co-drafting early policy frameworks for the upcoming Geneva AI Summit next year.💡🤖 #GESDASummit #AIGovernance #GenevaAISummit
