Victoria and Albert Museum is my most-visited London museum. It is my absolute honor to share that two of my paintings have entered V&A's permanent collection and will be exhibited at Degrees of Disruption in Oct alongside works by Vera Molnar and many artists I admire.

A walkthrough video is not even remotely capturing the greatness of the Degrees of Disruption exhibition, but I want to at least have a visual memory of how this exhibition made me feel.

Many thanks to the V&A @V_and_A , especially to Melanie Lenz, for presenting Vera Molnar and her work in such a beautiful way, for celebrating generative art, and for including me as part of the story.

It is very surreal for me to be here in London today, standing in my favorite museum, looking at my own painting, talking about how it was created, seeing it surrounded by works from artists I love, and knowing that V&A is this painting’s forever home.

I have been preparing for this day for some time (months!) imagining how I would describe this day, how to share my joy, and to express my gratitude. But really, this picture says it better (thanks, @oleary_kerrie , for capturing this moment!)

And the best part is, the story doesn’t end here. I am here to make (generative) art. And that makes me happy.

Since the very 1st day of my public CV page, I have placed the publication section above my exhibition records. Today feels like a good day to flip that order. Research takes different forms. Not everything ends up in a conference paper format for me anymore, and that’s ok.

Double knitting pattern inspired by the floor tile of the Barcelona hotel @carreras_anna had recommended me (thanks, Anna!!). Haven’t figured out what is the best way to present double knitting yet. Hanging them like a panel only highlights one side🤔 Is scarf the only option?
