Excited to finally be able to tweet (or whatever X-ing is called) about my first first author paper, now published! We explored using protein cages as tools for encapsulating bioactive peptides which are typically difficult to produce recombinantly.

What a cool piece of science! Employing sortase A to not only facilitate C-to-C protein ligation but also to achieve an intramolecular protein domain inversion.

I'd heard of Arc proteins, but another cool VLP expressed in the brain! 🌐🧠 Will be interesting to follow @AeraTx developments as they leverage these endogenous protein cages for therapeutic applications 🧬
