I'm excited to shift my nephrology professional circle to Roon - Twitter has changed dramatically and I've been inactive because of the noise. BlueSky never really took off for me. Hope to see many of my nephrology friends, colleagues, and mentors on Roon to re-connect!
    Roon Doctors @roondoctors
Nephrology is live on Roon! Nephrology sits at the crossroads of clinical medicine, working closely with critical care, cardiology, transplant, hospital medicine, and many other specialties. Nephrologists guide everyday decisions on fluids, electrolytes, acid-base balance, blood pressure, and kidney complications across inpatient and outpatient care. We are proud to launch with an outstanding group of Roon Founding Physicians, known for national leadership, guideline development, fellow education, and development of widely-used educational platforms. Their conversations on Roon focus on practical clinical reasoning and how to turn complex physiology into bedside decisions. If you manage patients with kidney disease or are interested in learning from the top nephrologists in the country, this is a community worth being part of. Join here:

RT @DGlaucomflecken: Obviously I’m being a bit hyperbolic here, but shouldn’t research be done by people who literally cannot help themselves. They think in p-values. They have hypotheses pouring out of their massive brains. Just like a surgeon only wants to be in the OR doing surgery. Instead, we have an army of pre-meds, med students, and residents who feel an obligation to “do research” as a means to an end. Doesn’t make sense. What are we doing?

Listen, we have way too many doctors trying to do research. Stop it. Go see some patients.

RT @rbarbosa91: 🧵regarding the introducer sheath commonly known as a 'Cordis' catheter. We'll go over what it was originally designed for and why it ended up being adopted by other specialties for entirely different reasons. Also we'll look at its accessories and see what's inside one. (1/ )
