    Mark this down for future reference. As long as Carlie Irsay-Gordon is calling the shots for the #Colts, they'll never hire a GM and head coach in the same year. If Ballard isn't back in 2027, Steichen will be.

    Absolutely hate to see Q go. One of my favorite #Colts of all time. But this is better for everyone. I know fans are upset about compensation but the bottom line is he's a 30 year old guard. He's really good, but a 3rd was what I expected. Hope he gets a ring in Seattle.

    Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.
