The #WhiteCane is an incredible tool used by #Blind and #LowVision people all over the world to move independently. Over time the tip wears down, affecting the feedback it provides. Knowing how and when to change the tip is an important step in keeping a cane reliable and safe.

Learning how to use a #WhiteCane is a key part of developing independence for some students who are #Blind. Here, Brayden works with his instructor to learn a new technique that helps him stay oriented along the edge of a sidewalk. #BlindnessAwarenessMonth
