Like most Iowa parents, we want to focus on math and reading, not political agendas from either extreme. And like all Iowans, I want us to get back to having the best public schools in the country. As governor, I'll fight for Iowa's public schools because my kids are counting on them, too.

If I win, both the far left and the far right will be disappointed with what I do with Iowa’s GOP legislature. It will be the return of common sense and compromise.

😬 YIKES: Zach Lahn doesn’t know east from west when talking about his own farm. “Just 28 miles east of here… or west of here.” 👇

RT @DaveMuhlbauerIA: As a county supervisor in western Iowa, I know voters are tired of the culture wars. They’re just looking for common-sense solutions. It's time we focused on the people instead of political insiders or special interests.

I try to keep it clean but government insiders taking away the power of the auditor to find waste, fraud, and abuse of tax dollars is bulls*^t. If I'm elected, we will work together to restore the powers to the auditor's office - no matter who is elected - because that is what taxpayers deserve.

Iowa has a $1.3 billion budget deficit. Meanwhile, hundreds of millions in tax dollars go to private school vouchers, including for families who can already afford it.

RT @PollTracker2024: #IowaGovernor Iowa News Now: Rob Sand speaks Norwegian to reporter from Norway.

People in positions of trust and power must be held accountable. That's what I've done my entire career, and it's what I'll continue to do as Governor.

We have to get Iowa back on track. Cleaning up our water, accountability for government officials, funding public education, and putting public service ahead of politics - like you, these issues matter to me because I have skin in the game. I hope that during tonight's debate I earned your vote.

I want us to get back to that Iowa tradition of sitting down and solving our problems together. That's why I promoted a Republican and independent who donated to my opponent to senior positions in the Auditor's Office. We're at the bottom for economic growth, the top for cancer growth, and our public education system is in the bottom half. It's time to rotate the crops in Iowa. I hope I've earned your vote.

I ran for State Auditor to make government more efficient, and I've kept that promise. My office created PIE – the Public Innovations and Efficiencies program, which has been so effective that all 99 counties participate AND it's been copied in two other states. I want to expand that program as governor to improve efficiency across state government and save your tax dollars. #IAGov #GovDebate

Iowa has a nearly $1.4 billion budget deficit. We're ranked near the bottom for economic growth. And we've averaged 49th for personal income growth over the last three years. We cannot afford to stay on this course. As Governor, I will address this fiscal timebomb so that services like public schools and public safety don't have to take a hit. #IAGov #GovDebate

That starts with making sure data centers pay their fair share, treating cannabis like we treat alcohol, and putting income limits on the school voucher program.

Iowa is facing a serious water quality problem. Too many communities don’t have safe water to drink, swim in, or fish in. I want all Iowans to be able to enjoy God's creations. This isn’t a “left” or “right” problem - it affects us all. And I’m the only candidate in this race with a full achievable plan to address it. #IAGov #GovDebate
