Valkyries fans gathered at Thrive City in San Francisco on Thursday morning, hoping to watch Golden State clinch its first WNBA championship. Instead, the Atlanta Dream held off a late Valkyries rally to win 80-69, tying the series and sending the WNBA Finals to a decisive Game 7. The championship will now be decided Saturday night at Chase Center, with both teams vying to take home their first WNBA title. Tip off is set for 5 p.m.1053.4K

Even before 8 a.m., the line outside Rikki’s was already stretching down the block, with Valkyries fans ready to cheer on a potential WNBA championship clincher. Fans arrived as early as 6:30 a.m. to line up before Rikki’s opened its doors at 8:30 a.m. The line grew so long that fans were directed down the block to another bar, Hi Tops, after being told they likely wouldn’t make it inside Rikki’s.66629.3K
