We’re excited to announce our first mission into orbit! The work began last year, with the development of our space internet architecture design, Space Fabric. Now, we’re taking the hardware into orbit in Q1 next year. Its job will be to prove Space Fabric’s security and multi-tenancy computing capabilities in GEO. If you want to build with confidential computing and security services in orbit, you have to solve the connectivity challenges between the different components of the space infrastructure orbit and Earth. This mission is how we begin addressing that challenge. Big credits to our amazing engineers for getting Space Fabric built and ready for orbit. Stay tuned for updates! Read the article:

"Security is what unlocks scale in orbital compute. Today one party usually owns the satellite and the payload and uses it for one purpose, and when that purpose is done there's a lot of compute sitting unused." @rezabfil on the #SVSW Orbital Data Centers:Investable Infrastructure or Thermodynamic Bet panel.

Wednesday evening at @cornell_tech was an inspiring one for frontier tech in New York City: two venture-backed space entrepreneurs making the case that a vibrant off-world economy is within reach. Thank you again @RobMeyerson, co-founder of @InterluneSpace (and formerly President of @blueorigin), and Daniel Bar, @semicondurian, co-founder of @SpaceComputerIO, for sharing hard-won insight into what it will take to open up the solar system.

RT @FryCookVC: What I love about SpaceComputer (apart from the awesome team, amazing tech, and bold vision) is that the company stands for the potential that blockchain tech and founders in this space bring to the world. From humble beginnings in the blockchain space to providing satellite infrastructure that will change the world. So many people I meet dismiss blockchain tech or founders that have worked in this space as "just building finance for institutions". But this space is about so much more. The ethos that brought most of us together will build a better future for everyone.

RT @semicondurian: Some numbers shared in our recent fireside: Terrestrial internet: - 1995 > 16m connected devices - 2005 > close to 1B connected devices Space internet: - 2025: 17k active satellites - 2035: projected 10m satellites Hence @SpaceComputerIO is building secure hardware to move from “space mission” to “space Internet infrastructure” and we’re taking a bet on the space economy. @desilvaneil - EiR at @cornell_tech / @initc3org and a NYC finance and innovation exec organized and awesome Next Chapter of the Space Economy I had a blast presenting in alongside other speaker @InterluneSpace CEO and legendary space builder Rob Meyerson who reminded me to think of space not as an industry but as a domain!

Can you prove a satellite image came from space, and that the software you expected is what processed it? Earth observation (EO) data informs commercial, environmental, and national security decisions, yet customers usually have to take its origin and handling on trust. We're presenting how to bring end-to-end verifiability to EO at Silicon Valley Space Week. ➤ Wed, Oct 28 | 11:00 AM – 11:45 PM 📍 Lovelace Room Attending Silicon Valley Space Week? Let’s connect! RT @rezabfil: Space is moving from bespoke missions to shared infrastructure. But that infrastructure needs a security layer. We’re building toward an “HTTPS for space”, common security primitives that let spacecraft, payloads, ground systems, and applications communicate, authenticate, and operate securely by default. Join us on stage as we explore some of the unique properties of space, and how they could shape the architecture of secure compute infrastructure beyond Earth.

We're very excited to share that @SpaceComputerIO has joined the @creativedlab space stream as one of the 40 startups in their first session! During the session in Milan we connected with more than 30 mentors from across the space industry, and got valuable feedback on our product and go-to-market. This is really important for our current growth stage, bridging our unique R&D to integration partners. Looking forward to collecting valuable feedback and sharpening our message with James Slifierz, CEO of SkyWatch Space, as our mentor. On Friday we toured @D_Orbit's manufacturing facility, which was so cool to see in person - from clean rooms to R&D plans, showcasing great connection between product & engineering. I loved the video of Mandalorian helmet in space! We’re excited to be part of this #NewSpace cohort, and look forward to sharing more about what’s coming next. Until then, we keep building 🚀
