I know it didn’t happen by accident. Through every high, every low, every setback, and every answered prayer, God was preparing me for this moment. I trust His plan, His timing, and the purpose He has for my life, knowing that His plans are always greater than anything I could have imagined. I’m beyond blessed and incredibly emotional to announce that I have committed to Florida State University to continue my academic and softball career! This moment means so much more than just a commitment. It represents years of work, sacrifice, perseverance, and faith. It represents the people who believed in me when I didn’t always believe in myself. Most importantly, it reminds me that God has been working behind the scenes the entire time. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11 This school and this softball program have been on my heart for a very long time. It has always been my dream, and I truly believe God placed this opportunity in front of me because He knew it was the right choice for me. I’m so thankful for my family, coaches, teammates, friends, and everyone who has supported me, prayed for me, pushed me, and stood by me throughout this journey. I wouldn’t be here without you. To Coacha, T-Cam, T-Will, and Coach Rafter: Thank you for taking a chance on me, believing in me, and seeing the potential in me to contribute to your program. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself, and I can’t wait to give everything I have to this team. To Coach Jason: Thank you for believing in me, creating opportunities for me, making the calls, promoting me to coaches, and pushing me to become a better player and person. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without you. To Coach Roger : Thank you for instilling confidence in me and all the words of wisdom when I needed it the most. You have been a huge supporter from the first day we meet and I am so grateful. To my family, especially my dad: Thank you for every sacrifice, the early mornings, late nights, practices, long drives, tournaments, and tough conversations. Thank you for holding me accountable, staying consistent when things were hard, and giving up so much of your own time to help me chase this dream. You have always believed in me and helped shape the person and player I am today. I could never thank you enough. Most importantly, thank You, God, for leading me here, being with me every step of the way, and giving me a dream worth chasing. When I couldn’t see where the path was leading, You did. This is only the beginning. I’m ready to work, ready to learn, ready to grow, and ready to give everything I have to this next chapter. When God writes the story, you don’t have to worry about the ending.
