Thank you @BradleyThomasUK for highlighting the extremely high tax burden on the hospitality sector. For every £1 a hospitality businesses makes, 82p is paid in businesses taxes. This tax burden is unfair and impacting the viability of high streets and the creation of new jobs.

Hear @JoePJRobertson call on the Gov’t to change their approach to NICs at the Budget. “Jobs and opportunities for young people have dried up over the last two years because the Gov’t has made it more expensive to employ them.” Gov’t must reduce the cost of employment to support job creation.

In Parliament @JulianSmithUK pressed the Minister to look at our proposals to provide a lower NICs rate at the Budget. Increasing the secondary NICs threshold will reduce the tax penalty on part-time & flexible employment. Gov’t must back hospitality to support growth.
