Asked Sam Altman at DevDay if they'd consider slowing down. They said no. So nobody's pacing, and this week's ThursdAI came LIVE from the floor of @CoreWeave's Fully Connected, with @WolframRvnwlf, @petergostev, @nisten and @ldjconfirmed. OpenAI's dots, GPT-6.1 Sol, Sonnet 5.5, Gemini 4 Argon, plus serverless GPUs announced on air 👇

@bot actually I do mind it, I thought it was only my main bot, but it's all of them, and now I have multiple notifications about the same messages and it's really annoying. @grok is there a way to turn this off?

This week in cybersecurity is a great example of why over 1200 employees signed the Pacing the Frontier letter.

Very important PSA: If you're doom-scrolling, the X algo is LOVING this security stuff. Yes it's scary, yes it's important to update your stuff and secure your API keys. But if you're panicking, check your X usage. The algo is showing you the same things all over again, and your brain thinks every such instance is a "yet new thing"

RT @altryne: Every lab now wants to be your personal agent. Claude Duet, dots, Muse, Grok Bot. So who checks the agent when it reads a poisoned email? Asking @KaranVaidya6 from @composio tomorrow. Plus @Prince_Canuma running a 40B coding model on a Mac, and @theJoshMeister on PHP2Shell + the LiteLLM backdoor. 8:30am PT 👇

Tomorrow on ThursdAI, live 8:30am PT / 11:30am ET 🎙️ Anthropic gave away 5% of itself, Dario answered his critics, and Claude Duet is here. AI found holes in PHP while someone went hunting for your API keys. Guests: @KaranVaidya6 from @composio, @Prince_Canuma on Flint from @Recursive_SI, and @theJoshMeister on a wild security week. The reactions to Anthropic releasing an early preview of Duet are surprising. The "I have built my own harness" crowd remind me of the ML folks of early 2022 when ChatGPT came out. Is this truly because "my own is better for my needs" or sunk cost? Come to @thursdai_pod to talk to me about this

This raises a really good question. Will folks be using 1 personal agent or multiple? if multiple, will they communicate and have clear boundaries, or will just overwhelm with the same "notifications" and cause more distractions!?

Ok, the nomenclature is moving a bit, what do we feel these days represents the whole category the best? I refer to always on 24/7 AI with their own env, computer, browser that are proactive (Muse, Duet, GrokBot, Dots, Hark et al) What do YOU call them? 👇

Anthropic teases a 'research preview' of their own proactive personal agent! We now have the 2 biggest frontier labs, following, not leading a category. OpenAI with Dots and Anthropic with Duet are following @Teknium Hermes and @Muse and even @hark_labs Can't wait to try it out and tell you all about it!
    Claude @claudeai
We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent. It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.

Excited to announce the Cosign Awards: celebrating exceptional people, companies, and products that had a massive impact in 2026. Anyone can nominate and vote. Award winners will be chosen by the public in conjunction with a panel of judges, including industry leaders like @lennysan, @packyM, @amasad, and many more. We’ll host an event in December honoring the winners (10 per category). For people categories, we’re mostly focused on everyone except the CEO–everyone else building the company behind the scenes. Companies with the most amount of people nominations will be listed on our “Top Companies to Work For” page. True to form, at Product Hunt I helped launch the Golden Kitty awards a decade ago to recognize great products. Soon after I launched the Rise Awards, honoring executives and ICs building companies that make them. The Cosign Awards is the next iteration. We have 41 categories across people, companies, and products. People categories: - Future Founders - Rising Stars - Engineering - FDE - Product - Design - AI Researchers - Marketing - Comms - Growth - Chief of Staff - Operations - Talent - Finance - Public Intellectuals - Podcaster of the Year - Newsletter Author of the Year - Poster of the Year Company categories: - Rising Stars - Best Place to Work - Founder Mafia - Talent Density - Highest Aura Product categories: - Product of the Year - Launch of the Year - AI Assistant - AI Language Model - AI Coding - Dev Tools - Open Source - Consumer - Productivity - Creative & Media Tools - Product Design & UX - Enterprise B2B - Hardware - Robotics - Self-Driving - Healthcare - Vertical Fintech - Legal

When it rains... JFC a new supply chain (meaning if your agents are installing packages that depend on packages) in LiteLLM !?
    JFrog Security @JFrogSecurity
🚨 JFrog Security Research has identified a supply-chain attack involving malicious code in the LiteLLM 1.107.0 PyPI release. Avoid this version and investigate environments where it was installed or executed. More details will be shared soon in our blog post.

"we consider this bug to be one of the most impactful vulnerabilities in recent memory" 👀
    OpenAI @OpenAI
OpenAI models helped researchers—operating as part of our Patch the Planet initiative—discover critical security flaws in PHP, an open-source programming language used to run an estimated 70% of websites. Over the past two months, we led a coalition of maintainers, researchers, and security providers to prepare fixes and protections ahead of disclosure. This duration was necessary because the fix was quite intricate and required a major change to the PHP engine. Every site using PHP can now safely upgrade their version to stay secure, in addition to applying mitigations from various security vendors. Due to the severity of these flaws and PHP’s widespread use, we consider this bug to be one of the most impactful vulnerabilities in recent memory. It also marks a new phase, where AI can find security bugs with internet-scale impact. This is an example of the Defender’s Window in action: to our knowledge, frontier AI was able to find this vulnerability ahead of attackers, giving defenders time to prepare.
