Appwrite@appwriteAppwriteRT @eldadfux: We’re constantly working to improve the security posture of projects built with Appwrite. Today, we added ~26K new throwaway email domains to our disposable email detection, bringing the total to nearly 100K blocked domains. Enable “Block disposable emails” in Appwrite Auth to stop fake sign-ups at the door. Disposable emails are commonly used to abuse free resources, create fraudulent accounts, and support other malicious activity. We will continuously update our database to stay ahead of new disposable email services and better protect Appwrite-powered projects.020371

Appwrite@appwriteWe're excited to announce a new partnership between Appwrite and @GoEntire 🚀 Entire is now available as a Git provider on Appwrite Cloud. With this integration, developers can: → Connect Entire repositories to Appwrite Sites and Functions. → Automatically build on every push, with production branch pushes activating deployments. → Track build results directly in Entire through checks on each commit. This brings Entire's Git workflow for coding agents together with Appwrite's hosting and backend services. The integration is now available on Appwrite Cloud! Read the announcement:13213.6K

Appwrite@appwriteAn update on PHP2Shell and the eMudhra certificate compromise. We've confirmed that Appwrite is not affected by PHP2Shell. Appwrite Cloud is also patched for eMudhra in every region. Here's what we've checked and what self-hosted users should do. 🧵21132.2K
Appwrite@appwritePosts @appwriteAppwrite serves requests through Swoole, so the two PHP2Shell vulnerabilities don't affect it. We've upgraded to PHP 8.5.12 as a precaution. Our write-up also covers what to check in custom PHP functions:106377
Appwrite@appwritePosts @appwriteAppwrite Cloud now rejects the compromised eMudhra certificate chains, with TLS verification still enabled. Self-hosted users should upgrade 2.x to 2.6.1 or 1.9 to 1.9.9. Both include the patch:003238
Appwrite@appwriteWe are aware of PHP2Shell, the two critical PHP vulnerabilities that PHP is patching today at 14:00 UTC. We have found no evidence that Appwrite is affected so far. We are still checking and will let you know right away if that changes. 🧵13357.9K
Appwrite@appwritePosts @appwriteAppwrite PHP functions aren't affected either. Every PHP runtime runs your code inside a Swoole server built on the PHP CLI image. PHP-FPM isn't installed in those images, and nothing you write in a function changes how requests reach it.1021.1K
Appwrite@appwritePosts @appwriteA self-hosted release will be on the way as a precaution once official PHP fix is live.101474
