    RT @LucaProsperi: While I do agree with @eastdakota that tokenized money is probably the best surface for agents to interact, it doesn't answer the question of what the business model is going to be. With several projects busy in building liquidity primitive, money movement rails, yield primitives, programmability primitives, it is not clear how agents will combine those and where margin will accrue. We are moving from a monolithic, black-box-like approach to maturity transformation and risk management (i.e. the universal banks) to one where value is composed and decomposed real time. This is not necessarily a good thing, since time mismatch has historically been a great absorber of statistical risk. Banks are able to do maturity transformation because on average they can predict liquidity behavior, banks can lend because on average they can predict repayments. If omniscient herds are moving value in a continuous and coordinated way, the statistical buffer component breaks. Real-time is not always better for humans. With the confluence of open financial system, and non-human financial actors, we might see the death of the money primitive as we know it. And we might have not realized it yet. It is not only how we will adapt to it, but actually what type of value creation strategy will emerge from it. It is indeed so crazy.

    Well-meaning worms have broken the internet twice. 1988: Morris tried to measure the internet and took down 10% of it. Then he co-founded YC. 2003: Welchia patched Blaster and crashed the Navy doing it. Round three runs on LLMs. Hopefully a benevolent hacker builds one that fixes zero-days silently and moves on.
