i view ETH and SOL more as monetary assets tied to the growth of their ecosystems than traditional businesses valued on revenue that makes them harder for TradFi investors to evaluate, especially when there's no clear way to measure how much value the underlying token captures what i find interesting is that successful onchain applications may have a clearer path to building monetary value around their tokens as more crypto businesses generate real revenue, i think the distinction between L1 valuations and application tokens becomes increasingly important

the divine art of “holding” is a psychological process of elimination in which, through many ups & downs in price-action over a long period of time, holders are brought in & shaken out in accordance with their respective belief in the token vs. its price-action until the great majority of holders remaining at the gut-wrenching lows consist primarily of those that sit in the upper-echelon of “belief” in the token; their belief in the token surpasses the intermediate fears that come with negative swings in price — they would rather lose money than give up their belief in the token these conditions are responsible for the “leg up” that a token may make after a period of consolidation — the leg up is the direct result of these conditions being met (outside of a direct catalyst) in the process, many fall victim to fear and end up on the sidelines; fomo-fueled candle-chasers follow (and contribute to momentum) on the way up, and fear-riddled chart-tourists get shaken out (and contribute to momentum) on the way down at the same time, many of the holders that are picked up along the way during consolidation and with each “leg up” do stay, and do believe — they are responsible for the creation of “higher lows” on the chart as the base of believers, in contrast to “tourists” (on the way out), grows and compounds it is a divine process that cannot be skipped, and it is a complete and total requirement that must be met before the price is able to rise beyond a given range it also takes more time than most are willing to wait, which also contributes in its own way, but it greatly rewards those who hold their belief over a long period of time holding is a skill; holding is an art; holding is a divine process, a song that the market must play in its entirety thanks for reading, ily

Payward, the parent company of Kraken, announced its intention to be the first CFTC-regulated deployer on HIP-3* markets. Payward will use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US clients. Subject to regulatory approval, Bitnomial, Payward’s CFTC-regulated DCM and DCO, would act as the HIP-3* deployer: creating, owning, and administering the markets and clearing and settling the contracts. If approved, NinjaTrader Clearing, Payward’s CFTC-registered FCM, would carry client accounts. HIP-3 will support optional deployer configuration for permissioned markets in a future network upgrade. This set of additional deployer functionality is collectively called HIP-3*. At its core, HIP-3* activation involves an onchain allowlist managed by the deployer or its sub-deployers. The functionality is strictly additive to HIP-3; its use is optional and up to the deployer. Existing markets remain unchanged. The initial release is available on testnet, where specifications are preliminary and subject to change based on feedback. Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. HIP-3* gives deployers additional functionality to operate deployments consistent with the requirements applicable to them. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.

RT @umar_xbt: Cobie reveals the shared trait of traders who reach $100,000,000 “The common thread among people who make $100M in crypto is that they’re highly self-directed. They don’t read Crypto Twitter and ask what trade to copy, they form their own opinions from first principles.” “They record what they thought would happen, compare it with the actual outcome and create personal training data. That recursive loop continuously improves their mental model of the world.” “The people who blow up take enormous risks. The people who make it and keep it are satisfied with what they have and are willing to be cautious.” “Crypto makes it easy to become a multimillionaire and still feel broke because someone else has more. Stop benchmarking yourself against other people or your imaginary all-time-high net worth.”

RT @notwashed: the only thesis i feel good about rn is that we're approaching a period of crypto outperformance ai feels a lot like crypto's 2025 top: max extraction, marginal buyer issue, and narrative violation (btc stopped trading like digital gold, ai capex stopped looking like it'll pay off) every day you open this app or look at macro there's a new reason to be bullish crypto: wealth inequality widening, mercury being turned into gold, unlimited money printing, the blackrocks of the world pushing tokenization, etc. some macro scaries to get through, but my bet is crypto is the thing to buy at the bottom, like ai stocks were at the early 2026 bottom

RT @Kaiz_294: A livestream with just 100 viewers could generate 1 million clip impressions, and Tulip King details how better clipping and distribution can turn a small audience into a scalable media business “Let's just pretend you have like 100 live viewers, but you do like a million in clip impressions. Your business, which is selling views on the clip impressions, is actually based on your ability to convert stream into clips” “As you become more efficient, as you build out clippers more, as you get better at identifying the right moments, doubling down on working content, that multiplier grows” “The only two metrics that matter are total impressions and live viewers. Live viewers are what seeds engagement in everything you do. Total impressions is essentially the efficiency of the machine that you've built around distribution” “Our live viewers have grown a lot over the last year, and our multiplier of how many impressions we get per stream has also grown. If we can grow both of those, you have a multiplier to multiplier, you have an exponential business” w/ @tulipking

RT @Kaiz_294: Some of the biggest opportunities in crypto can take months for the market to recognize, and Ansem reflects on how short timeframes and excessive leverage have cost traders potential gains “That's what f*cks up people a lot, being too levered or being too short timeframe. Even a few months is not a long period of time” “Stuff being in a downtrend for three to four months, if you're really convicted on this thing and you have an outlook of a longer six months plus, a year, whatever, and you have a job and you're making money, slam as much as you can into this stuff when you get the opportunity to” “Your knowledge is not what everybody else knows, and I think that's what people fuck up on a lot. That's what I fucked up a lot on crypto” “How is this shit not higher? How is this not trading a lot higher? What am I missing? It's just because everybody else hasn't figured it out yet. That's where the money's at” w/ @blknoiz06
