Field went from the print studio table to the wall at ASIA NOW, and I'm so happy to see it hanging in Paris right beside @reuben_wu's work! It's the largest work in "Ophelia, Reframed" at 80 × 100 cm and a single unique print, up at booth R03 with Gallery @bygrida until 24 October. If you're interested in collecting it or any of the other six works, please reach out to @bygrida.

RT @objktcom: @RaquelGaudard — There’s something of a memento mori in your work, even in all those neon colors. Is death something you think about often, both in your art and in your life? @ALIENQUEENART — Yes, death is something I think about often, both personally and in my work. Growing up in a family that survived the Cambodian genocide, death and survival have always been part of my understanding of life. But I don’t see death as purely dark or morbid. It’s a reminder that life is temporary and that we’re all sharing the same human experience. That’s why I often combine imagery of death, skulls, and impermanence with bright, psychedelic colors and playful characters. There’s beauty, humor, chaos, and life alongside death, and I think my work reflects that tension. Midnight Ramen.exe, 2026. Still from the animation presented in Faces, curated @bygrida for @AsiaNow_Paris at Monnaie de Paris. Released via @objktone.

RT @shavonnewong_: Suspension, 2026 40 × 50 cm The scene is set at sunset for this one, and the AI swung the camera sideways as it framed her, so her face catches the last of the light just above the water while everything around her is dragged into streaks. The blur came from what I asked the AI for, imperfect and unsteady images, and it chose where to put the camera to make them. From "Ophelia, Reframed", presented with Gallery @bygrida at ASIA NOW, Monnaie de Paris, 20 to 24 October 2026. #DellProPrecision #DellTech #NVIDIA

RT @shavonnewong_: I gave an AI voice a script made from what other people had written about Ophelia. It ranged from academic writing to casual online commentary, all with the same voice reading all of it. It sounded like one coherent narrative, even though it has been assembled from different people's interpretations of her. Those borrowed words became part of "Ophelia, Retold", one of the two video works that began "After Ophelia" in 2025. The other is "Ophelia, Reassembled". This year, I’m continuing the project with a new series called "Ophelia, Reframed"!
