Major central bank meetings • Oct 28: Federal Reserve meeting • Oct 30: Bank of Japan meeting • Nov 5: Bank of England meeting These three central banks could signal tighter monetary policy as rising energy prices threaten another inflation shock. If they turn hawkish, higher borrowing costs could put even more pressure on global markets. 2.
