    easyJet has just announced that it will be installing SpaceX's @Starlink on its fleet. Installations will start in first half of 2027 across the airline’s modern A320, A320neo and A321neo fleet, with the rollout expected to be completed by early 2028. "easyJet’s investment in onboard connectivity is a key step in further enhancing the experience for 100 million passengers who already choose to fly with the airline each year." easyJet CEO Kenton Jarvis: “Innovation is in easyJet’s DNA and partnering with SpaceX to bring Starlink’s high-speed internet connectivity onboard for the first time will not only further enhance the experience we provide millions of customers, but means we are offering more of the options both business and leisure travellers want when they choose who they fly with.     easyJet will operate around 1900 flights today, unfortunately some flights this morning were unable to operate due to the knock on impact of weather related ATC restrictions yesterday which led to aircraft being positioned out of base. We are doing all possible to minimise the impact on our customers, providing those on cancelled flights with options to rebook or receive a refund, as well as hotel accommodation and meals where required. We advise customers due to travel with us today to continue to check the latest updates on their flight on easyJet’s Flight Tracker before making their way to the airport." The safety and wellbeing of customers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority and while this is outside of our control, we would like to apologise to customers for the inconvenience caused.

    We have been advised of an Air Traffic Control systems failure affecting UK airspace, which is currently causing disruption to flying programmes for airlines operating to and from the UK. We are providing customers on cancelled flights with the option to transfer their flight free of charge or receive a refund and recommend that all passengers flying with us today, regardless of their destination, check the status of their flight on our Flight Tracker at for real time information before travelling to the airport. The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is our highest priority and while these circumstances are outside of our control, we would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused and to reassure customers that we are doing everything possible to minimise the impact of the disruption.
