I respect Farooq Sahab, but his statement is completely incorrect. If anyone is an enemy of India and the people of J&K, it is Pakistan. Look at the situation in PoK, where people are protesting for their rights. Since 1947, successive Central governments, from Nehru to Modi, have contributed to J&K’s development, irrespective of political affiliations.

I am shocked by Farooq Abdullah Sahab’s statement. Given his long public career as J&K Chief Minister and a Union Minister, I never expected this. Pakistan is our destroyer, not our saviour. Look at PoK, where people are protesting against Pakistan and demanding their rights. Pakistan has never been our protector; it remains a threat to the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

One year after the heinous terror attack in #Pahalgam, we remember with deep sorrow the 25 innocent tourists and the brave local resident who were killed in this brutal act of violence. The attack not only targeted civilians, it also struck at the very soul of Kashmir and all that it stands for. Yet, Kashmir has remained resilient and united in its pursuit of peace, justice and the complete eradication of terrorism. As we pay homage to those we lost, we also look ahead with hope for a future free from such acts of terror.
