This is against the law in Arizona. In fact. It is against the law for poll workers to tell voters how to vote for equal protection purposes. Since it's impossible for them to talk to everyone, they are not supposed to talk to anyone. Early voters now have the OPTION of ID verification at the polling place, but are still legally allowed to drop their ballots in bins to go through the signature verification process.
