I am safe. My recent hiatus was the first I've taken completely of my own volition. It was unplanned/sudden, but benefited a worthy cause. I answer to the public; if you need/want to know more, please see below. This account/project starts again tomorrow. Thank you.

Adding to the post below: Research released by Georgetown University CSET, OpenAI & Stanford Internet Observatory warns AI tech like chatbots, deepfakes, etc., could give those launching Influence Operations, propaganda, etc., "a distinct advantage".

I've been warning about the use of AI chatbots in cyber crime, Information Operations, etc., for years. It will never cease to frustrate me that entities like Europol are so far behind the future, when researchers put information out years ahead of time.

RT @hackermaderas: We should be cautious about tech like Woebot, an AI chatbot app using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to help people manage their mental health. Digital wellness apps aren't bound by US federal privacy laws & have shared data with 3rd parties like Facebook/Meta. 4/6

RT @hackermaderas: People: Suffer emotional turmoil when changes to code alter personas of AI chatbot companions Roleplay committing "horrific violence" against AI chatbots created as romantic partners, to let "some aggression or toxicity out" Are in long term relationships w/ AI chatbots 3/6

RT @hackermaderas: People: Use AI chatbots for all kinds of cyber attacks: malware creation, romance scams, phishing, crafting more effective spam, etc. Are talking to facsimiles of their dead loved ones via AI chatbots Create their own personal, portable dominatrixes using AI chatbots 2/6

RT @hackermaderas: #CyberpunkisNow This thread presents various realities & occurrences related to people using AI chatbots. The AI chatbots involved are mostly Replika or ChatGPT. Released in 2017 & 2022, so much has risen from these technologies in just six years. Sources in posts 5 & 6. 1/6

RT @hackermaderas: Given all this, I believe it's difficult to place an upper limit on what these two technologies (also, similar tech in the future) may ultimately be capable of, both in their performance as technologies, & their possible impact on people, for good or ill (probably ill). III/III

RT @hackermaderas: Both technologies impact on society thus far, if judged by how they've effected people's lives alone, have been so widely varied, as to be dangerously unpredictable. On top of this, a wide array of usecases & new technologies that leverage both, have come into existence. II/III

RT @hackermaderas: What I hoped to demonstrate via this thread: We have two technologies that have been publicly released for 6 years (Replika) & 2 years (ChatGPT). In those relatively short periods of time, both have had a considerable, wide reaching impact on society & technology. I/III

RT @hackermaderas: I bet data farms deploying legions of chatbots designed to engage people in online communication, specifically to harvest data from them, will be a thing. "We don't have data point X from online population Y." "Deploy 100,000 bots using deepfakes package E, targeting psychological types 1 thru 44."

RT @hackermaderas: @realjensbro @KatyushaRockets @Spriter99880 Also, since around 2014, Russia's government has produced/implemented Elbrus chips, that have x86/x64 compatibility for applications like military computers. I think the chips native architecture (Elbrus 2000) may be SPARC based, but I could be wrong.

RT @gregisenberg: Btw, ChatGPT is old news AutoGPT is the new kid on the block Read this if you want to stay ahead:

RT @SullyOmarr: By 2025 Autonomous AI Agents will be in every aspect of life. They've been out for a week - and already the possibilities are mind-blowing. But what are they? How did we just figure them out and whats next for us? I'll try my best to explain. Buckle up, its gonna be a douzey
