what retarded drug-addled adderall TWEAKERS don't understand is that you don't want physical and mental stimulation at the same time adderall is: - dextroamphetamine (mainly CNS, brain) - levoamphetamine (mainly PNS, body) both smashed into one pill. that's the most taxing way you can build a stimulant. heart racing while your head is trying to focus and think. but use the parts alone and they actually merit some usefulness. levoamphetamine = physical energy. noradrenergic. stay awake, push through physical fatigue, keep moving with POWER when cognition is already good. dextroamphetamine = laser focus. if you're studying something, you don't need a pounding heart or a physical twitch that yeets your laptop. you just need the brain turned ON. and if we're talking about ADHD, adderall can be a near optimal formulation in SOME cases. but why the fuck would i care about mentioning a medical condition when i am talking about biohacking? it's not a jab at amphetamines. but a jab at stacking the wrong ones together. on non modafinil days, i frequently take 5-10mg of oral selegiline just for the levomethamphetamine and levoamphetamine it metabolizes into. pure physical energy, feels incredible to me. but i would never stack it with dextroamphetamine, since that would just recreate an even stronger version of adderall. focus obliterated by wiredness and jittery.

adderall is the worst amphetamine you can take for cognitive enhancement it's 25% levo amphetamine / 75% dextro amphetamine levo is the peripheral noradrenergic shit. more taxing on your heart and cardiovascular system, and it's largely responsible for that wired tweaker feeling you get on it. some people benefit from this but i would overwhelmingly say it's a negative for any healthy person using it. what you actually want is the isolated dextro amphetamine part. it gives you a cleaner, more centrally dopaminergic drive. quiet, subtle, but fucking strong motivation and focus. attentin and dexedrine are literally just dextro amphetamine.
