1/4 After weeks of crunchtime I'm excited to start thinking about the future!🌟 I’m looking to establish a group focused on Collective #CellMigration, #Morphogenesis, #DevBio/#CellBio. We're flexible on location, with a preference for Europe. Any suggestions?🤔email:mcbis@unc.edu

Excited to share our latest publication demonstrating an essential role of P-cadherin regulating tubule formation during morphogenesis! Proud of all the students who worked on this and thankful to all our collaborators #cellmigration @VCUENGR @VCU_BME

🎉 Just published in @NaturePhysics ! Our latest paper in reveals how subcellular microgrooves guide collective cell movement, transforming chaotic dynamics into organized patterns. Dive into the details of our recent study! #Biophysics #CellMigration

Supracellular cues play a key role in directing collective cell migration in processes such as wound healing and cancer invasion. New findings emphasize the importance of all length scales of the microenvironment in shaping cell migration patterns.

Still fascinates me that expressing a point mutant in a growth factor receptor can change so much biology! The FGFR2b N550K mutation releases the kinase break- meaning it can signal sans FGF. Magenta FGFR, black LifeAct, in uterine cancer cells. #microscopy #cellmigration
