Phase 1 of #DestinationDanforth construction will complete this afternoon, and Phase 2 (Jones to Woodbine) begins tonight! Construction will take roughly one week, 3.5 days for both the North and South sides, and one traffic lane per direction will be maintained.

A quick update on the progress we've made on #DestinationDanforth over the last several weeks! I hope everyone is getting out and enjoying the new layout. If you have feedback - please reach out! Your input is crucial to getting this right.

Had a great commute to work this morning using the new bike lanes on University Avenue. Cycling is a key part of our city’s transportation network and this safe, separated #ActiveTO cycling route will give residents more ways to safely get around our city.

Phase 2 (Jones to Woodbine) of #DestinationDanforth construction should be wrapping up today! Both traffic lanes have reopened and orange barrels should be removed by tonight. Phase 3 of construction begins Monday - almost done!

With historic growth in our city's cycling network this year, bikes sold out across the city, and great numbers showing a 40% ridership increase from #DestinationDanforth, this #BikeMonth feels extra special! Looking forward to when we can celebrate in person!
