    The San Francisco Business Times reported Wednesday that the properties traded for $14.35 million. The tower and garage span about 702,000 square feet, according to Behring — and that reported pricing shakes out to a mere $20 per square foot. On its own, the recent sale sets the 1950 Franklin tower’s value at $32 per square foot. The price, if accurate, is astoundingly low, even in this compromised market. For instance, a distressed loan for a roughly 72% occupied 276,000-square-foot office tower at 180 Grand , about three blocks over, recently sold for a reported $105 per square foot, or about $28 million. That building was worth $119 million in 2017, according to reporting by the Business Times. WOW, Progressives really ruined this city.
