#DragonRuby

Experimenting with #DragonRuby again 🎮 To embed an HTML5-exported game into my #Rails app, I'm using a little Rack container class around it. Extracted this to a tiny gem:

Hunt for gold and treasure, avoid getting caught by patrols #gamedev #lowrezjam #dragonruby

Sproingy Samurai is my submission for the KIFASS! gamejam. Defend your Bouncy Castle against ninja and other aggressors: an upgrade or two along the way will help. #dragonruby #ruby #indiedev #kifass #itchio #gamedev

So cool! James Rozee from #redsparkscreations just shared in our student community that he wrote a raycaster using a game toolkit called #DragonRuby.

Nice, Julian is giving a talk at @friendlyrb about creating games with @amirrajan's #DragonRuby and the retro style of the first slide already makes me happy! #ruby #conference #friendlyrb #FriendlyRB2024 #gameprogramming #Bukarest

I wrote an article in the first #DragonRuby Community Zine described as "a fever-dream conversation Xed had with a dragon." Lots of goodies inside! 🐲🎮🪄 #ruby #indiedev #gamedev

It's progressing little by little. Now there are the dialogues, drafts of NPCs and different kinds of missions. The core mechanics are expanding . It will soon be time to put my story ideas in pixels and in code... #dragonruby, #indiedev , #gamedev, #ruby, #ldtk, #pixelart

Finished the initial finalized version of my "file context managed partitioned array"; a way of saying a "NoSQL database using Array-Of-Hashes". Also, it's portable and I'm targeting it towards #DragonRuby #indiedev #indiedevs #nosql #furryart #indiegamedev #programming #gamedev

It's #DragonRuby #TweetCart time. This one has just 241 characters and made me truly dizzy while I was making it. Please don't stare at it for too long. Quickly, (like and) scroll away! (code in reply) #GenerativeArt #CreativeCoding #Ruby #CodeGolf

The BashAsset #gameengine is based on the #DragonRuby #toolkit at a fundamental level. DragonRuby is an implementation of mruby and allows for game development in ruby. Thrilled. #indiegamedev #indiedev #gamedev #gametoolkit #gaming #games #videogames #gameengine

Look what came in the mail. Issue 1 of the DragonRuby zine, hand-made by @brettchalupa, with this fantastic sticker. #dragonruby #gamedev #indiedev

Game development and the development of the BashAsset engine should begin sometime this year or Q1 of 2023. The game is already planned on paper and in my head and is all laid out. It will be a furry RPG with active and turn-based elements. #DragonRuby #GameDev #IndieGameDev

My first #DragonRuby #TweetCart! Merry Christmas all! Code in reply.
