#EssentialWork LADWP continues to build the LA Reservoir UV Plant that will be completed in June 2021. When completed, this project will help meet water quality requirements by treating water before it enters the drinking water distribution system.

#EssentialWork We trim about 250K trees each year to keep them away from our power lines and high-voltage equipment to maintain excellent power reliability and also prevent wildfires. Our crews recently completed this tree trimming work at Distributing Station 81 in Van Nuys.

#EssentialWork continues. When the improvements at our Tujunga Spreading Grounds are complete, they will increase valuable storm water to our water supply and offer recreational opportunities to the community.

#EssentialWork continues. #LADWP crews have been at the Green Verdugo Reservoir working on a floating cover replacement project to further improve water quality in the reservoir. Once complete it will improve our operations and reduce maintenance costs at the reservoir.
