Since this is number 32 in a long-running book excerpt series — 32 for #Dodgers’ great Sandy Koufax, a Hall of Famer — I have chosen as my subject Don Mattingly, who was nothing of the sort. At least, not during his time in Los Angeles.

Anyone who thinks politicians or political parties don’t keep dirt files on anyone is a fool. FFS I had one written on me that was shopped around. The story in the daily mail yesterday was used by design to cause damage and it was a low act in so far as timing. Do better PVO.

I 💙reading excerpts but I rarely see them here. Maybe because of algorithms, maybe because other authors found (like me) that these often get little to none engagement. Anyway, If you feel like it, drop excerpt from your current WIP below. I will drop mine too #Excerpt #WIP

A few excerpts from @Travis_Sawchik’s latest blog on command, more thoughts below and full blog linked in replies ⬇️ Much of what goes into training Accuracy is still more of a theory than a proven science right now, but I don’t think that’s the case for Command. To understand how that can be true we just need to separate the skill from the strategy. For the skill- I’d say the evidence points towards it being trainable, and like pretty much any other fine motor/movement skill, your floor, ceiling, and capacity for progress are going to be somewhat individual. As fun as it is to do so, the answer isn’t just blindly throwing random objects, you’re going to need to know what specifically is going wrong and why that’s happening before you can correct it in a meaningful way. On the strategy side- I’d say if your targeting strategy is not built with your miss dispersions in mind you’re just leaving free game on the table and you’re actively behind what’s happening at the highest level. If you’re punching tickets and not walking anyone now you’re probably fine, but if your misses seem to hurt more than they should that’s a good sign you could benefit from some tweaks.

Your friend sounds like a bitch and he should have just ignored her for a week and asked her to drinks
    Westside L.A. Guy @WestsideLAGuy
My friend went on 3 great dates with a girl (yes this included dinner dates), no sex. I told him he’s cooked, that he should cut his losses. The girl wasn’t happy when he told her it’s over. Was he too harsh towards her? Should he have done a fourth date?

Nope, What you’re missing and what few women are willing to openly admit, yet the data shows, is the overwhelming majority of women today are willing to and do fuck the hot guy on the first date. Worse most people are running on instinct and don’t know what they want, so someone actually knowing & being quick and decisive is odd. Fact is a strong sexual attraction is important for long term relationships. Being good is an important qualifier, but the data is clear that most women look at that second and will use that to end a relationship later with the hot stud she took home the first night. That means you technically can know if most women are interested by the first date, 3 dates is very generous and more than plenty enough for her to find other attractions than looks. Again, Most people are running on instincts in the dating pool and are often unknowingly lying/ignorant about being interested. Hence why actions speak louder than words. If she isn’t sexually attracted, she wont engage, if clear sexual attraction is insufficient your odds of a lasting relationship is extremely poor. You need to be a Good and attractive person in her eyes, it’s best not to waste either’s time.

@StreamingSeagu1 @nonregemesse I will point out something that all the comments seem to ignore. She says she's "going out of town on Friday." That's making an excuse for the things she actually wants to spend her weekend on. He's getting asked to do a weeknight date.

U.S. has warned several Gulf Arab countries to prepare for a possible short, intense military campaign against Iran after the November 3 midterm elections, according to supplied excerpts attributed to The Wall Street Journal. President Trump reportedly favors a major post-election attack but has made no final decision. •Military preparations: The report describes the deployment of a Patriot missile-defense system from Texas, relocation of vulnerable troops, replenishment of munitions, and preparations involving bombers and fighter jets. Another aircraft carrier strike group and Marine unit could join roughly 20 U.S. warships in the Middle East next month. •Potential targets: U.S. strikes could target Iranian infrastructure and nuclear facilities to weaken Tehran and pressure it into negotiations. Israel has prepared targets, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly pushing to resume attacks and ultimately topple Iran’s government. •Diplomatic efforts: Trump has reportedly ruled out strikes before the midterms. Regional mediation remains stalled as Washington presses for nuclear negotiations and Iran maintains tough demands. The supplied report says U.S. sanctions and a naval blockade have severely restricted Iranian oil sales and trade. •Iranian retaliation: Tehran warns it would strike economic and civilian targets across the region. Despite previous bombardments, Iran reportedly retains hundreds to thousands of missiles and is rebuilding its ballistic arsenal, while U.S. and Gulf missile-defense supplies remain strained. •Nuclear oversight: IAEA chief Rafael Grossi said no reconstruction activity has been identified at damaged nuclear facilities. However, inspectors lack access and cannot verify whether nuclear material has been diverted. The deeply buried Pickaxe Mountain site remains a concern.

@upstatefederlst This is the output of the ZIRP period. The endless meetings where I (and people like me) said "this is not a good idea," and were ignored, laughed at, and told not to be "impractical." They hired bootcamp graduates (and offshore "assets") and vomited out horrors.
